Tsm

my backup team was using the bpclient utility which they are migrated to TSM client.

I need to change the script running from bpclient to TSM [baclient].
if anyone give some inputs that would be great.

Its going to be difficult to help without seing the script... since we dont know what it does (bpclient) and how you implemented TSM ( I never heard of baclient...)

TSM takes a lost of training to get things configured and working correctly, you need to go in an in depth analysis of what you want e.g. Is it the TSM server that decides when it is going to backup or is it the client asking the server if it can...
We usually install clients on servers configure it as requested by TSM team and let TSM team deal with all the scheduling business, all we do client side is a write a start/stop script for reboot or to stop and restart the client when needed...
For new users there is a TSMadmin GUI software to help you through but long time since I last touched TSM other then archiving backuping /restoring things on clients
