Question Can I `userdel root`?

If I'll creat a user with uid=0, Can I `userdel root`?

Maybe you could, but you would probably regret it. I don't know if userdel will allow that and I'm afraid to try. You first.

I do know one thing though running

rm -rf * (from / level)

Nothing much happens. I cancelled it half way through then no commands worked at all. Take it wiped them already No big deal I was re-installing the system anyway and well I wanted know now.

Next time I'm reinstalling a O/S I'll see what happens with/when removing the root UID does.
