Question sending an email
I have used an already-built ActiveX control to send email from my asp web pages. One of the parameters I fill is FromName which defines the tittle the recipient will see in the From entrance in his Inbox.

Now I´m trying to use mail to send an email from a Shell but I haven´t found the parameter from define it. It took by default my user I logged in, and the user sees something like: From: "Hum_recprog0001", but I it is not suitable for an end user. I would like to define the From with this, From: "Human Resources."

I have also tried to look for the answer through typing man mail, but with no results related with the matter I´m describing.

The machine I´m working on has Linux Suse as an OS

I would appreciate any collaboration


P.D: To avoid any confusions I'm not trying to define the recipient mail address, I Have found it could be defined with -r parameter

Perhaps you could try something like:
