I don't think VNC use HTTP ...
Just run vncserver, and the required session number will appear on the console like :0, :1 etc. Then on remote PC you just use VNC client and enter the host:sessionnumber (like 192.168.0.10:0) to connect to the VNCserver. Hope I didn't misunderstand your question. |

RealVNC has a small web server. If you want to connect to the web server, use the port 5800+display_number... if your server is on display 1, point your browser to http://server:5801... |
