OS suggestion for a PII 400mhz machine

Can anyone suggest a linux OS that would run fairly well on this machine? It has 64mb ram.

Have tried mandrake 9.0 but having major problems getting the wireless network card to work..

Does anyone know where you can down load mandrake 9.1 or 9.2.. Seems to be no trace of them out there on the net..

Have tried 10.1 but it runs a bit slow..

Thanks,
Jaz

Both DSL and Puppy can be installed. Running, by default, as a Live-CD, doesn't prevent that. Or, if you have enough time, consider LFS or an Gentoo install.
Either way, with 64 MB memory you're going to be pretty limited when it comes to graphics (KDE/GNOME)

Ah right, didn't realise you could install with a live-cd.. I'll have a look into that..
I know I'm gonna be pretty limited but hey anything is better than win 98...

Thanks for getting back to me on this..
