I'm currently unemployed and need a new job

Last week, I got laid off.

Anybody know of any positions for someone with Cobol programming and AIX scripting experience, in the Northern NJ or NYC area? Or the contact info for a good headhunter?

Here's a brief bio:

Quote:
In 1994, my brother purchased an electrical supply business with three locations. He had an electrician run the wiring, and asked me to solder RS-232-C connectors for the terminals. After the system was installed, I was asked to be the system manager. This position included all aspects of system management, and expanded to include all computer related functions, including designing two web sites, and producing all stationary and marketing materials.

When his business closed after 12 years, I was hired by another electrical supply company that already knew of my capabilities. That company recently had business fall off, and layoffs. I was included in the layoff.

Thanks.

Ooops. I should have updated this thread a couple weeks ago.

I got a job, in the same industry, with a company that uses the same type of system and software from the same vendor.

So, it's almost like nothing changed except the route I take to get to work.
