Unhappy Ping Problem

Comp1=192.168.100.2
Comp2=192.168.100.6

both the comp have win2000 Os.

Using Cross cable i have connected back to Back.

When i ping From Comp1 to Comp2 its working fine.

But
When i ping From Comp2 to Comp1 its not working.

I know don't know what went wrong please help me out.

More Clear

No error.

But uable to ping..
says (On Comp2)
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>ping 192.168.100.2 -t

Pinging 192.168.100.2 with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

( I have to NIC cards i verified with both unable to ping.)
But i noticed one thing. when i reboot Comp1 and ping is on from Comp2 to Comp1.

It will ping when the Comp1 is just logging. aftetwards it stops ping

Have you disabled any firewalls ?
