I try an RCP command from winnt to unix and it works only with 2 pc but with the two others it dosen't work....? MS-DOS return this error msg : 0826-826 The host name for your address is not known.

Do you use DNS at your site? If so, check that your system is listed. If it is, then more than likely those two systems that complain are not using DNS. Or that none of the PCs use DNS and then...go to the next suggestion.
If you don't use DNS, then your hostname and IP are in the host table of the two PCs that work but not in the others. Sorry but I don't know PCs that well except to point and click so I can't tell you where to add the IP. |
