Well, in fact there are three student dorms under our control and more than 500 students. I think we are about 550... but that does not change any of the topic... And in fact we have two and a half subnets at our disposal. (640 ip-addresses)

Hey
Why don't you just create another subnet for WiFi clients with (for example) /16 netmask? There is more IP that you need and you can configure NAT for them as you need at your gateway.
You can leave your current 192.168.0.0/24 subnet as it is, and add one more 172.16.0.0/16 subnet for WiFi.

Usually you didn't have to provide a public IP address to each student Smilie
So your clients end up with something like that:

User 1 (LAN): (192.168.0.100)=>153.126.30.101=>Gateway=>Internet
User 2 (WiFi): (172.16.0.2)=>153.126.30.102=>Gateway=>Internet

and so on, and you can NAT all your WiFi traffic through one or more public IP's.

You can find more relevant info here.
