Unhappy how to get online in text mode with redhat 7.1 ?

Hi people... Is there any way to configure the conection i text mode ? I need to know how to make the modem work and how to configure a dial up conection in text mode by redhat 7.1 and if possible how to configure the email...
I use the workstation installation...any help will be welcome...

With RedHat, you can use wvdial. If you already set up rp3 in an X session, then you should be able to use it right away. Otherwise, you'll have to use (I think it's called) wvdialconf.

man wvdial

Just don't forget to turn it off when you're done!
killall -1 wvdial
