Changing Auto negotiating Problem on Solaris

I have a T2000 server running Solaris 10. I want to change the auto negotiaing on the ethernet ce3 to off. but when
I try with the comand

ndd -set /dev/ce adv_autoneg_cap 0
only ce2 changes. I have tried with

ndd -set /dev/ce:3 adv_autoneg_cap 0
but failing.

Note: Earlier i was using ce2 but not using ce3 because ce2 failed.

Kindly help

you have to change the instance number first:

Code:
ndd -set /dev/ce instance 0
ndd -set /dev/ce adv_autoneg_cap 0
