Suggested networking ...

Have one WinXP-Pro box and one RH-8.0.
WinXP has dial-up to internet.
Both PC's have 10/100BaseT NIC's, both also have USB ports.

Q1: Do I just need a 'cross-over' cable to connect each of the NIC's to enable RH internet connectivity??

Q2: Can I achive the similar result using a USB connection between the two PC's.

Little confused with a number of friends making suggestions.

In reply to Q1, yes, you can use a crossover cable with no hub in between. I don't know about Q2 as I have never done it or heard of anyone else doing it.

Thanks for the feedback TioTony.

I could only find a few reference to using a crossover cable and nothing with USB. Guess my friends are getting themselves a little confused.
