Problem:Urgent

To follow up on my earlier email-

I tried to run the script but it says enter the parameters like: user Id=
so in the $ sign I enter my name as the user Id and it says
ksh : indira: not found. Is this an access problem or I am doing something wrond?

Thanks
Indira

1. ftp does not expand shell macros.

2. if this is a UNIX machine, then use $HOME/.netrc to store usernames/passwords
