Dear Brothers in Unix
I would like to change some HP-UX settings in order that the system send a message to root it should be copied to my e-mail address in Microsoft Exchange Server. Please can you help me. Best Regards and thanks in advance Gege |

Ask the MS administrator to accept emails from your machine [ relay domains is the term in sendmail , I don;t know the MS term ].
One done , vi /etc/sendmail.cf on the HPUX machine and Amend the "DS" macro to point to the hostname / ip address of the exchange server. Once done, you can send emails. Follow then above given procedure to setup a .forward. Regards, Kaps |
