screen resolutions&mouse type

May be you can change the screen resolution to a lower one ,and sometimes the hpux workstation can not start the CDE with non-hp mouse. i use the logitech when i encounter this problem,i replace it with a ibm mouse ,and it works. two days later, i change the resolution to the high one .the CDE can start, i was really confused about this point.
