Oracle or Applmgr users can not connect
i try to connect to oracle or applmgr users under unix HP-UX 11i but i can not connect but i can connect with root or any other users.

when i try to switch user from root to oracle or applmgr it go to next line with no response even if i press C + Ctrl.

what can i do to solve this issus?

Check the shell of the user oracle. It may be that it is set to /bin/false. This might have this kind of effect. If the shell is set to /bin/false, change it to some other shell (such as /bin/sh) and then try to login.
