Disable HP rp4440 processor
hi, I have an rp4440 running HP-UX, it crashed suddenly and it goes in to cyclic restart. we suspect it is CPU issue see this log: Code:

Can you tell us where the logs you put in tags are from? Since its cyclicaly rebooting?

this is an update the CPU recovered, it was stopped/deconfigured , we have done hard reset after configure it from the beginning : Code:

we reinstall the HP-Ux from scratch, we couldn't find any alternative soulution

There was maybe simply no more bootable device...In your log You had: Code:
panic: all VFS_MOUNTROOTs failed: NEED DRIVERS ????? I seen a case where the mirror wasnt done properly and the faulty disk was the only bootable... You are in big trouble if no ignite tape or image around you have... |
