Access with console.

hi,

is it possible to have a console access on a HP UX system without Web Console ?

If yes, how ???

There is a console port on the HP system. The web console is a tiny box that plugs into the console port. You unplug the web console. Then you plug in some other kind of console...a terminal or a pc or something. But you cannot have two consoles...it's one or the other.

We use Digi PortServer II for our older boxes and the GSP port on the newer boxes to get a text console. Both work well for us.
