GUI applications on SunSolaris and RedHat Linux

Hello, I want know about building a product on Sun solaris and Redhat Linux.
Product would contain C,C++, Java, UNIX Shell scripts and so on. It will not be a client server programme.

Thanks!

Suppose if you want to develop a GUI based product would run on a single machine to access some of the database...What are tools required to make/build the the prodcut. Once i launch the product, it should display UI with text boxes, Radio buttons etc...It is not like a client server architecture.

Query: What the softwares required to make a product on SunOS and RedHat Linux ?

Let me know if you need further details..

If you meant the GUI parts in particular, GTK+ and QT are the strong contenders I believe.
