no autogen.sh?

I tried to make a little test library so see whether if I can get autotools working for a library. I somewhat did, it compiles, but some targets, such as dist, fail.

The test library is here:

libtest (at an uploading service)

I run autoreconf -i, then ./configure, and when I type make dist, I get the following error:

Code:
make: *** No rule to make target `autogen.sh', needed by `distdir'. Stop.
Of course, i don't have autogen.sh (though I have install.sh). I just can't get dist working... What's wrong with the library?
