UNix envoirment

Hi

When i am trying to make to compile my programs with make all it is showing me error "Cannot find a rule to create target dependencies"

what could be the error I am using AIX flavour of unix although i am able to make a single programm compiled through make command. Make module is also not working

Please solve or recoomend something

Im in dire straits

Who made your make file? A makefile is a program in it's own right, describing a sequence of steps on how to build something, which may or may not have errors.

Unix env settings

hi thanks for reply but it was written 12 years back so no idea and indeed it is very long so i am not able to do the back tracking Can it be effected by PATH variables setting if yes then how?
