yes network simulators are available.
you can go for NS-4. And I am not sure of the latest release of the network simulator. and NS versions are free. Just give a click in google and get the download. I believe ( not cent percent sure ) all the network simulations and algorithms to be done in TCL/TK script language ( and that is damn easy ) and I am not sure of capability of NS to embed foreign language in using it for simulation. All the best!!! |

Sorry matrixmadhan i tried to google for NS-4 but it gives libraries for mozilla (probably its taking NS for NetScape) also sites for rpmdatabases like http://rpmfind.net/ & http://tuxfinder.com/ etc. didn't show any package meant for network simulation. So plz. give me the link of the site from where I can download this simulator.
Also I want to make it clear that I'm neither using LVS or any other known package or libs. so will NS-4 simulate my algo in that case and if not plz. suggest any other simulator that can do so. Thank u very much for helping and hope u reply this too. |
