How to create .SO file (DLL)

HI,
i want to create shared object file (that is .SO file it is similar to DLL in windows)......

The simplest way is to provide the -shared flag when using gcc.

Look at man gcc for more details.

you can use CC -G command.
CC -G <library name> <list of object(.o) files>
for more help you can check man pages for CC.

different compiler has different options.
for example,
gcc use -shared -fPIC.
hp aCC use -b.
aix xlC use -G
...
