Suggestion: Cygwin, other Lin-in-Win subforums to this one
Seems like it would at least make asking questions and getting answers a little easier. There are certainly enough posts pertaining to Cygwin here.
I suppose there are four ways one could go about it: 1. Keep the main part of the forum for Cygwin and DOS and create one subtopic forum for the other Linux-in-Windows software ; 2. Keep the main part of the forum strictly MS and create one subforum area for Cygwin and one for the "others" (similarly to how it's done in the Distributions forum area), making three in all, counting the original main one; 3. Keep the main part of the forum strictly DOS/Command Prompt and "branch off" all the Linux-in-Windows solutions by name, which would leave one with at least four from which to choose where to post their question or issue; 4. Make no changes .Comments? BZT |
