Post Unix Coding Standards

Hi,

I am looking for some coding standards for Unix Shell Scripting. Can anyone help me out in this?

What do you mean by standards?
Do you want something that portable to most Unix systems? If so, check POSIX, and write your shell scripts in sh...

I wanted some documentation for standards for writing shell scripts in a Unix environment. My company is a CMM level 5 certified company and I am working on defining some basic coding standards for writing shell scripts in Unix.

Can some one help?

To my knowledge, there are no specific
"Unix Shell Script Coding Standards".

I suggest you take a look at various standards
for other languages (Perl, Tcl/Tk, Python, etc.)
and based on your internal requirements,
take what you like and leave the rest.
