Hi:
It seems that the shell variable $path is tied to the environment variable $PATH in C shell. Is this true? Is there a way to keep them separated so changes in $PATH won't be reflected in $path? Thanks. |

Thanks!
Could you please also confirm that only "set" and "setenv" change the values for both shell variables and environment variables, but "unset" or "unsetenv" only change one of them? Other than $path, $shell, $home and $user, are there any other variable pairs are tied together? Thanks! |
