Mac OS X v10.5.6, v10.5.7: Unable to send faxes while modem is set to receive faxes

If you attempt to send a fax when "Receive faxes on this computer" is enabled, the fax may not send and the modem queue may state "Preparing to send the fax document" or "Waiting for the modem to become available". This behavior may occur in Mac OS X v10.5.7, and in versions of Mac OS X v10.5.6 that ship preinstalled on some Macs.
