Trying to install Fedora Core 3...
Hiya all,
Hope you can help. I keep getting the same Error message when I try to install. I have tried several different Diskettes. And I finally ordered CDs from "FASTDISCs". The install "disc Checks" passed fine on these. The error: "The package usbitils-0.11.6.1 cannot be opened. This is due to a missing file or perhaps a corrupt package. If you are installing from CD media this usually means the CD media is corrupt, or the CD drive is unable to read the media. Press <return> to try again." Please help! Martin PS: If Fedora is destined never to be on my Spare PC, whats the next best O/S for mainstream WEB SERVER Usage? MY PC Details: ...er... Cheapee off internet... k7vmm+ mainboard Socket A support AMD k7 processor loads of ram etc. |
