Account creation trouble

I created an account a while back, but never received any confirmation, so I could never get the full access... I logged back in today, but I'd forgotten what I'd used for username... anyway, I entered my email address and it said that I would receive my login information, which I haven't...

So I created another account (under which I am now signed in). I haven't received anything yet, but it's only been a little bit, although you'd think it'd be something that can happen fairly quickly. Am I doing something wrong, or is something not working properly. How long between the time I register, and the time I receive an email. I would really like to have the ability to search and post.

Thanks for your help.

The email is sent almost immediately. But sometimes mail can be delayed. If it doesn't reach you, I would suspect a spam filter or something.

Account Creation Trouble

Thanks for the response. First I tried my work address; then my home. The problem is that I'm not allowed to access the page that would allow me to change the email, until I get granted more rights... Otherwise, I could go and try a hotmail account next, I guess. I just joined another forum, and as you say yours should be like, I had a response very quickly and am now able to post there. <but not here )
