mdadm software raid 5 distro migration

I have a 6 disk software raid 5 configuration on Debian (amd64) that I would like to move over to CentOS (i386).

Code:
Personalities : [raid6] [raid5] [raid4]
md0 : active raid5 sde1[0] sdd1[5] sdc1[4] sdb1[3] sda1[2] sdf1[1]
      3662859520 blocks level 5, 64k chunk, algorithm 2 [6/6] [UUUUUU]

unused devices: <none>

  1. Are there any issues with moving from a 64bit to a 32bit OS?
  2. Do my disks need to plug into the same SATA port on my motherboard to work correctly?
  3. What do I need to do on the new CentOS install to get it to recognize/mount my array?
Thanks.
