Question Motherboard Compatibility

Hi there,,

I URGENTLY need to know if the Gigabyte GA 8IDML Motherboard is compatible with the Unix BSD. We need to know if we should buy new boards before we can use the product.

Thanking you

Yes, It would be compatible. Ihave checked the Motherboard on its Manufacturers webpage and it looks like using P4 Processor based. Nowadays almost all the Motherboards supports Unix based OS. Also im sure the Kernel that you are going to install is the Latest Version. So i think the Motherboard fits the requirement.

Also you should refer to the BSD Webpage for the H/Ware requirement parts. This is because Some of the Built-in components such as Graphic Chips, Sound Chips have some difficulities to fit in Unix base OS. Give a try checking the webpage.

Also check out or visit http://ebay.com if you wish to buy any Motherboards/Books (Unix) online.
