One way is to have the Adobe Acrobat Professional. Another could possibly be PdfCreator

Download OpenOffice.org v2 (www.openoffice.org)

It's free and saves in pdf format, (and reads MS *.doc format extremely well), via export option.

Can't hurt to try for free.
