i found a few references to programs (mostly gui) or automated in some way that do security type monitoring. <br />
this is fine and all but i would really just like an equivalent to 'import' for the webcam.<br />

I have the RHEL5 cd copied to the harddisk. set up yum configuration file..<br />
#createrepo -v .  is also done..<br />

all this is working. no errors in messages  log file <br />
also no errors in access log and error log files<br />

the rhel5 is on DHCP 192.168.1.169<br />
from .169<br />
i can ping the router at 192.168.1.1<br />
i can ping the winxppro at 192.168.1.141<br />
i can ping my vmware RHEL5 on winxppro at 192.168.1.133<br />
<br />
and i can ping vise versa<br />
<br />
i have telnetd and httpd working on .133<br />
the fresh install is giving problem<br />
<br />
<br />
