TIBCO is presenting at the OMG “SOA in Healthcare” event in April in Chicago USA (an event omitted from the earlier list of events), on CEP in Healthcare.
Real-time event processing using business rules and real-time analytics enables new and efficient forms of information processing for healthcare providers, including:- fraud detection for claims / workers comp / etc, through correlating claim events by individual, claim type, practice, etc.

• medical trend analysis, detecting real-time trends in claims for medical practice or underwriter analysis
• healthcare delivery, improving patient care through correlation of care and treatment events and associated treatment and insurance compliance regimes (”Medical Activity Monitoring” instead of BAM?)
• service level agreement monitoring through real-time service event correlations.
