OpenBAM Brings GNU Lesser Public License to CEP Visualization Tools

OpenBAM is a new Java-based visualization tool that can be used for CEP applications. Licensed on the GNU Lesser Public License by Inder Sabharwal of Carracci Systems, OpenBAM is an open source project hosted at FreshMeat.
Similar to BEA’s recent entry into event processing, OpenBAM was developed using the Java/JEE Spring framework. Live Widgets and Live Dashboards are configured in OpenBAM using XML files.
According to the their docs, “a Live Dashboard provides gives you an ability to load many Live Widgets in one location and track what’s happening to your entire business - which is a combination of your systems and devices, services and external events.”
According to the OpenBAM roadmap, future releases will add support for, distributed indexing, alerts, log file parsers and new customize widgets.
