Hi Guys!

I'm trying to change the MAC label of file secret

command structure

Code:

setfmac mls/low secret

but i get the message

Quote:

setfmac: traversing confidential: permission denied

user's mac label is: mls/low(low-10)

and btw i'm using FreeBSD 6.2

can anyone answer why permission is denied and what (low-10) means? thanks in advance

Perhaps the full path to the file has a confidential directory you are traversing? Get the mac of every parent dir.
