Hi all,
on aix,whether have udev or devfs mechanism?

It has it's own mechanism of hot plug device handling etc.. Afaik it does not use udev of devfs. Maybe read up some more on AIX about that on the IBM Information Center or wait for another answer in here.

I'm not familiar with udev or Linux, but I think the tool he is looking for is cfgmgr in AIX.
