HACMP LV size is not reflecting

Hi

i increased the lv size using smit hacmp.
but, the new size is not reflecting.. why?.

the pp size is 512 MB. before it was 4 PP's. i increased to 10 PP's.
when i type df -m /xxx.. it is showing 2GB only.
see the info below..

root@db:/ > df -m /xxx/xxx
Filesystem MB blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on
/dev/xxxx 2048.00 271.36 87% 13 1% /app/d2

INTRA-POLICY: middle UPPER BOUND: 32

can someone help me on this..

you have to increase the filesystem too

System Management (C-SPOC)/HACMP Logical Volume Management/Shared File Systems

on non hacmp-systems it's normally enough to just increase the filesystem, the lv is extended automatically

on hacmp it's wise to first extend the lv like you did, choose disks for correct mirror an so on, and then increase the filesystem size

but for both hacmp and non hacmp systems, if you have a disk policy, just increase the filesystem without previous lv extension, if you are 100% shure that max pvs/pps/upper bound... is set correctly
