mounting aix disk under different OS

hi,

is that possible?
i installed one disk of a old rs/6000 in a linux machine.
the problem seems to be the partition layout.
linux fdisk tells me that aix disklabels are not supported,
so the problem seems to be the partition layout, not the filesystem.
does anybody know a way to access the data on a aix disk from a different OS?

thanks
alex

I assume that disk layout will only be your first problem, the filesystem itsself will be your second one. Some unix filesystems share a common origin, so maybe some will be able to at least read aix' fs. Chances will be highest for NetBSD. But at all: If you don't need data from that disk it won't be worth the time.
