Marking of Files with blanks in DTSCRIPT

Hey,

i'm trying in a shell script which i want to generate with dtscript.

The script is searching on my AIX for special file-types and generates a list.

This works fine. Now the user can choose the files which he wants to delete.

The probleme is the marking of files, including blanks in filename. I'm not able to select these items...

Anyone an idea, how to handle the problem?

I'm relatively new to Pro*C programming. In the following example: char name; EXEC SQL SELECT 'John Doe' INTO :name FROM DUAL; "John Doe" is in positions 0-7, blanks in 8-19, and a null in 20. I would really prefer the null to be in position 8 and I don't care what's after that. I wrote a... (1 Reply)

update-profile-cache DESCRIPTION
Running this script (re)generates the cache of profile assignments used by desktop-profiles. By default this script is run automatically once a day by a cron script. NOTE: No cache of assignments will be generated in cases where cache use isn't supported by desktop-profiles (at the moment caching pro- file assingments is only supported in the simple case when no group or command requirements are used for activation of profiles, i.e. when we have a static machine-wide profile assignment).
