Hey Guys,
Can anyone of you tell that Why AIX is getting boomed in the Market .. what are the salient features of it .. why are People now a days migrating towards this Server . and how is the Future for this server Operating system ... Why should we use AIX rather than other servers Reply me Please ! |

They say if you can't afford mainframe (or AS/400) and you have a big database then it's the best OS and hardware. Many big oracle and db2 database are running on it. But if you have a thousand user, you really need mainframe. It's business, I guess.
Of course OS/400 and DB2 are integrated and that's a big difference. Good to hear that AIX is booming, the only problem is that in North America, there's too few AIX administrator. Last edited by itik : 05-14-2008 at 11:46 PM. |
