H50 power issue

Hi all,

I have a H50 server in a remote location and the cron has the power failure line entered. There is nothing in errpt so I suspect this may have been added some time ago.

How can I determine the status of the power supplies remotely?

TIA

As errpt is OK you are probably right and they are old messages.

Run advanced diags in system verification to sysplanar0, if they pass then remove the rc.powerfail from cron, all should be OK.

If you want to make double sure al is OK you'll need to power down and then cold boot for the full post / bist tests to run, or if you cannot do this remotely then you'll need to get to site to do it and while there check the power status lights on the power supplies.
