mail, aliases, pager
Hi,
I have two aliases for two types of alert. /etc/aliases italert1: user1@company.com italertb: 123456@paging.isp.com The first alias containts only an email to go through the company exchange/mail server. Works fine. The second alias contains only a pager which also works fine. The problem is that if I put on the first alias with both email and pager (separated with comma as usual when adding more recipeint). The pager won't go to through and will always have a system undeliverable. I don't want to setup my blackberry to vibrate or even tune because I don't want to wake for all companies email. I only want to wake up on my AIX alerts that go to through my pager. I have both blackberry and pager. Where do I need to start looking for this problem in AIX 4.3.3? Actually, this is weird. The problem was another alias: owner-italert1. If I remark it then it will be able to send thru a pager address and it will go through without any problem.
I don't know if this is the same with AIX 5.3/6. Watch out! Regards. |
