How to get xterm
Hi
Need a clarification bout the xserver and xclient as im really new in this field. I know this may sounds really simple question, but i got many opinions from the internet bout getting the xterm. Some said, just do a simple export DISPLAY and xhost and the xterm will pop up. And some said i hv to get the xserver running on my pc and then the xterm will pop up. I tried the 1st one, and got the error unable to open display. The 2nd one i dont really understand and dont really know how the xserver works on my pc. Can u explain to me? Thanks in adv. |
