filesystems and logical volumes

I needed space on my rootvg to increase space of a file system. So I moved a logical volume to a different vg. But I still cannot increase the space of the filesystem on the rootvg.

How do I get the space released by the lv back to the rootvg so I can increase the filesystem space?
