Failed to re-build the etherchannel after remove it.

As a newbie, I am learning AIX5.2 on IBM machines, the computer has 3 network adapters. I encountered problems with etherchannel configuration.

After AIX5.2 installation, I used the command "smit addethch1" to add the ent0 and ent1(as Backup adapter) to the etherchannel.
then there appeared a new network interface 'en2', after following IP address configuration on en2, the en2 did work well.

Then I want to more excercise, removed the etherchannel en2 and re-configured it again. but after I used command "smit inet->Remove a Network interface" to remove en2, then re-build the etherchannel en2 based on ent0 and ent1, I used command "smit addethch1", selected adapters ent0 and ent1, but echerchannel en2 configuration always failed.

I don't know where is wrong, any instruction is appriciated! If you give me the step by step instructions , that is better! Thanks!
