idle virutal CPUs show sys% usage

Recently all our systems show sys% usage, even on folded CPUs (displayed with nmon -c). For instance a system with 6 virutal CPUs, 10 of the cores show only sys usage each over 30%. This system shows 5 of the CPUs as folded.

Is this normal? It remember the folded CPUs used to show no usage at all.

CPU Usage to Number of CPUs - relationship

I have an E15K running at 60% CPU usage on 16 CPUs. I need to get rid of 6 CPUs, which is 38%. Does that mean my CPU usage will go up to 98%? I suspect the relationship between CPU numbers and usage is a bit more complicated. Can anyone give me any guidance on this please? TIA (0 Replies)
