Found this User Guide for your box - maybe check for recovery, SMS menu etc.

To get to recovery mode on your box, you need terminal connected to machine via serial cable. When system boot, you can change boot mode (one of the option is SMS mode, and then you can boot AIX into Maintanance mode to clean / fs)
