Anyone know where you can purchase a 5.1 cd set? IBM no longer ships this out and do not have a set. I have a burned copy, but would be nice to have the originals. I'd like to send my copies offsite for DR once i get an original set.
Thanks! |

Now, this is not a "technical" advice at all, but useful info on how to deal with "Mama Blue":
Even if IBM does not ship the CDs any more it should be possible to get them from your SR - you have a "serious" talk with her and casually mention her targets and how your (projected) hardware procurement plans will help her to meet these. Usually this does the trick. ;-)) If you have a service contract for your machines (in case of professionally used servers this is always a good idea) you should even be able to get the CD set by opening a software call. Still, playing it nice and asking the SR before is usually a good idea, though. HTH bakunin |
