Thank you malcom for your response. Sorry, I didn't have much experince in UNIX. What do you mean by 'killing the shell'?, and how I can kill the shell?

log out user in script

Hi, I have a script giving option to allow user who run the script log out the server. I used 'exit' when user chose this option. But it didn't work the way I wanted.
